Togo based ASKY airline, has signed a multi-year agreement with next-generation technologies provider Sabre Corporation, enabling the carrier to move forward with innovative, that will facilitate further expansion.

  • The agreement will allow ASKY to leverage the global travel technology leader’s passenger service system and its recently-launched Sabre Commercial Platform – the industry’s only intelligent retailing platform
  • The new partnership will expand ASKY’s shopping and payment capabilities, improve airport operations and offer a superior experience to travelers.
  • ASKY Airlines, commenced operation in 2010 and is one of the fastest-growing airlines on the continent – currently covering 22 destinations in 20 countries across West and Central Africa.

In January 2020, Google Cloud announced it has joined forces with Sabre Corporation a leading software and technology provider that powers the global travel industry—to help digitally transform the traveler’s experience, and co-create the future of travel.

In October 2019, Sabre Corporation announced the acquisition of Radixx, a leading airline retailing software provider with an established presence in the low cost carrier (LCC) space. LCCs have grown twice as fast as full-service carriers over the past five years and now total nearly 30 percent of global passengers boarded annually. Sabre expects the acquisition to help the company offer retailing, distribution and fulfillment capabilities to serve this rapidly expanding market.

In October 2019, Sabre Corporation announced that it has extended its long-term relationship with Aeromexico – Mexico’s global airline that serves 88 cities in three continents. Aeromexico will continue utilizing Sabre’s passenger service system (PSS), expand its use of the Sabre Commercial Platform and enhance its utilization of Sabre’s global distribution system.
