Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (“CD&R”) and KKR agreed to acquire the enterprise data cloud company, Cloudera for approximately $5.3 billion. Cloudera delivers an enterprise data cloud for any data, anywhere, from the Edge to AI.

  • The transaction will result in Cloudera becoming a private company and is expected to close in the second half of 2021.

Feb 2021: To expand presence in utility products market, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) completed the acquisition of Wolseley UK in approximately $421 million deal. Wolseley UK, is a leading supplier of plumbing, heating and, air conditioning, piping and infrastructure.

Oct 2020: Clayton, Dubilier & Rice announced the completion of acquisition of Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to industrial sectors for approximately $4.7 billion. Epicor is a leading enterprise software vendor delivering cloud-enabled services to more than 20,000 customers globally.

July 2020: Cheney Bros., Inc. and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice announced the closing of an investment by CD&R-managed funds in Cheney Brothers, a leading family-owned & operated regional food distributor serving the Southeastern United States. The Cheney family remain majority owners of the company.

May 2020: Clayton, Dubilier & Rice announced to acquire Radio Systems Corporation, the leading innovator in the companion pet health and safety market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

May 2020: Clayton, Dubilier & Rice announced the completion of the acquisition of Huntsworth plc, a leading provider of specialty services that help pharmaceutical and biotech companies commercialize new therapies and support the life cycle of drug innovation. As of today, the transaction was valued at £575 million.
