The world’s leading Coca-Cola bottler Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has announced a multiyear agreement with to accelerate its transformation to an open hybrid cloud environment using Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

  • The multiyear agreement is designed to reduce the CCEPÂ’s operational expenses, increase IT resiliency and leverage analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its daily operations to bring enhanced business insights and deliver greater service to its millions of customers
  • IBM Services as per the agreement will help CCEP transform to a IBM hybrid cloud environment managed by IBM, including the use of IBM public cloud, and several large SAP workloads. IBM will also provide CCEP with a consolidated view and single point of control over its entire IT infrastructure.

The major deals and investments by Coca-Cola Company in last few months are mentioned below:

April 2020: Coca-Cola Company announced a five-year agreement with Microsoft Corp. to standardize its business operations on Microsoft’s cloud and transform global engagement. The partnership with Microsoft helps Coca-Cola to deliver new digital experiences globally. After this agreement, Coca-Cola will utilize the capabilities of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 to provide innovative solutions to modernize the company engagements with employees and customers. The new Dynamics 365 AI-driven insights and real-time dashboards will allow call center managers to monitor performance metrics for overall employee satisfaction scores and benefit from real-time insights into which call topics are driving scores.

February 2020: The Coca-Cola Company had announced that Coca Cola HBC invests in Knockmore Hill, Northern Ireland to expand its capacity. The company will install second canning line at the plant to support increased demand for can production, with the capacity to produce 4.8 million cans per week.

January 2020: Coca-Cola UNITED builds a warehouse and sales center at Lamb Loop Road and US Highway 41, Georgia, The USA with community leader Tifton. The new 300,000 square foot facility is expected to bring 200 new employment to the city.

January 2020: The Coca-Cola Company will invest $1.1 billion in France, over the next five years to support the development of its current brands, expansion of bottling capacity, and introduction of new products in the French market. The company has been present in the country for the last 100 years, serving as a key contributor to the food and beverage industry.

December 2019: Hard Rock International (HRI), a world’s leading dining brand, announced a global partnership with The Coca-Cola Company to introduce Coca-Cola’s brand portfolio to Hard Rock Cafe locations worldwide beginning in 2020.
