To strengthen digital engineering capability Cognizant has signed an agreement to acquire Minneapolis based Magenic Technologies, Inc, which works across a range of industries, including financial services, professional services, insurance, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.
- The acquisition will expand Cognizant’s software product footprint, adding 475 employees in the U.S. across seven locations and more than 350 employees in Manila, Philippines
- After this deal Magenic associates will become part of Cognizant Softvision, connecting Magenic’s expertise with Cognizant’s global software development capabilities
- Magenic provides Agile software and cloud development, DevOps, experience design, and advisory services.

March 2020: Cognizant announced an agreement to acquire the USA based Lev, a privately-held, digital marketing consultancy company. Lev helps businesses simplify and modernize their marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to provide data-driven insight and personalization across the customer journey.
February 2020: Cognizant had announced the intention to acquire the French operations of EI-Technologies. The acquisition would expand the Cognizant’s global Salesforce practice and enhance the client resources in the European region. France based EI-Technologies is a Salesforce Platinum Partner. January 2020: Cognizant had acquired Code Zero Consulting, a privately-held Atlanta-USA based company and a leading provider of consulting and implementation services for cloud-based Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) and billing solutions.
