Sep 2020: The leading wine and spirits company Constellation Brands, had acquired American Brandy Company the Copper & Kings. Louisville, Kentucky based Copper & Kings is a cutting-edge distillery that produces highly differentiated American Brandy, absinthe, gin, and Destillaré liqueurs.

July 2020: The global beverage alcohol company Constellation Brands, Inc had acquired minority stake in Booker Vineyard’s super-luxury, direct-to-consumer (DTC) focused portfolio of Paso Robles, California wines.

July 2020, Constellation Brands, had purchased a high-performing, digitally-native wine brand Empathy Wines. The acquisition of Empathy Wines helps Constellation Brands to build direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform with high-performing digital technology and digital capabilities.

May 2020: Constellation Brands, Inc. announced that it revised wine and spirits agreement with E. & J. Gallo Winery to divest a portion of Constellation’s wine and spirits portfolio principally priced at $11 retail and below, including certain related facilities located in California, New York, and Washington.

March 2020: Constellation Brands, Inc. had completed the sale of Ballast Point to Kings & Convicts Brewing Co. The deal includes sale of the Ballast Point brand and a number of its associated production facilities and brewpubs, excluding Constellation’s operations facility in Daleville, Virginia, the USA.

February 2020, Constellation Brands and Karma Wellness Water, Constellation Ventures’ first minority investment in a non-alcoholic brand, had collaborated to launch a new marketing campaign to optimize the potential of the Karma beverage brand and its patented cap technology.

January 2020, Through Constellation Brands Ventures’ Focus on Female Founders program, Constellation had acquired a minority stake in PRESS Premium Alcohol Seltzer.
