To meet growing beverage cans demand Crown Holdings, Inc. announced to build a new beverage can manufacturing plant in Henry County, Virginia, the USA. The new 355,000 square foot facility is expected to begin operations in the second quarter of 2022 and will create 126 new jobs in the region.

  • This will represent the Company’s third greenfield beverage can manufacturing investment in North America over the last five years.
  • This state-of-the-art plant will supply beverage cans to the Company’s customers serving a variety of categories including sparkling water, energy drinks, carbonated soft drinks, teas, functional beverages, hard seltzers, beer and cocktails.

    In February 2020, The leading metal beverage can manufacturer Crown Holdings, announced that it will build a new beverage can manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The new plant will supply beverage cans to the Company’s global customers serving a variety of categories including sparkling water, energy drinks, carbonated soft drinks, hard seltzers, teas, nutritional beverages, craft beers and cocktails.

• The new Crown Holdings plant is located in Kentucky Transpark and the 327,000 square foot facility is expected to begin operations in the second quarter of 2021. The new Beverage Can Plant estimated to create 126 new jobs for locals.

In February 2020, Crown Holdings announced partnership with Danone for new 4U Carbonated Juices and Teas in Brazil. The 4U line features two carbonated juices and two flavored teas, all made with 100% natural ingredients. Two different sizes of sleek style cans from Crown, along with special ink finishes and colorful imagery, offer vibrant, eye-catching package designs that reflect the healthy, fresh blends of the 4U beverages. Danone partnered with Crown Holdings for beverage can for its durability, recyclability and decorative options.
