Global automotive technology provider DENSO Corporation has announced investment in Certhon Group (Certhon), operating mainly in Europe and the United States, to expand horticulture business in the global market. Both companies will collaborate to develop and provide greenhouse solutions.
With this collaboration DENSO will develop next-generation greenhouse technologies with the help of Certhon’s horticulture business knowledge, such as fully automated indoor farming, and sell greenhouse package solutions tailored to the diverse needs of countries across the world.

December 2019: DENSO Corporation, has acquired a stake in German start-up company PiNTeam Holding GmbH, a leading vehicle-related software developer. With this deal, DENSO will accelerate the development of software that controls in-vehicle electronic control units (ECUs). In April 2019, DENSO had announced that it would invest approximately US$1.6 billion over the three years to support the development of electrified automotive products, systems, and technologies.
September 2019: DENSO Corporation and Beyond Next Ventures Inc. have established OPExPARK Inc. to develop the businesses by utilizing OPeLiNK
July 2019: DENSO and Smiths Manufacturing (Pty) Limited established a joint venture, DENSO Sales South Africa (Pty) Limited to offer aftermarket products and services in South Africa
July 2019: DENSO and Toyota Motor agreed to establish a joint venture for R&D related to next-generation, in-vehicle semiconductors.
