Deutsche Hospitality opens the IntercityHotel Budapest in Hungary. IntercityHotel Budapest will be Deutsche Hospitality’s first property in Hungary. The 312 rooms IntercityHotel includes a restaurant, a BistroLounge & Bar and a conference area.
- The new hotel offers guests free fast Wi-Fi, coffee and tea making facilities, satellite TV, air conditioning, a desk, a safe and a fridge.
- The hotel, realised by the Hamburg-based B&L Group, will be Deutsche Hospitality’s first property in Hungary.
- Located right next to Keleti Railway Station, it will also feature resplendent latest generation IntercityHotel interior design by the Milan-based architect Matteo Thun.

Jan 2021: The hospitality leader Deutsche Hospitality announced to open third IntercityHotel in the Netherlands. Deutsche is adding an attractive location in the southern part of the Netherlands to its portfolio by launching an IntercityHotel in Breda. The new hotel will take shape right next to the citys main railway station.
Dec 2020: To expand the hospitality in China, the Deutsche Hospitality planning to open two new Steigenberger Hotels in Haiyan on the South China Sea coast 100 kilometres southwest of Shanghai at the start of 2022. The two hotels being planned will consist of one Steigenberger Classic Hotel and one Steigenberger Future Hotel.
Aug 2020: Deutsche Hospitality announced to expand its presence in the Sultanate of Oman with new Intercity brand. The group has opened a second hotel operating under The IntercityHotel Nizwa.
July 2020: Deutsche Hospitality announced that its modern upper mid-range brand the IntercityHotel scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2022 in Paderborn, Germany.
July 2020: Deutsche Hospitality announced to debut its young Danish economy brand Zleep Hotels in Switzerland. The hotel will be located in a new quarter near to Zurich Airport.
July 2020: The global hospitality leader Deutsche Hospitality expands in Germany with the opening of new IntercityHotel Saarbrücken. The four-star IntercityHotel opens at the very heart of Europe.
June 2020: Deutsche Hospitality brand Zleep Hotels expands in Denmark with opening of new hotels at Ørestad. Copenhagen gets a new Zleep Hotels with more than 211 rooms. The Deutsche hotel is located in Ørestad which is a trendy part of town undergoing a great process of development.distance from the hotel.
March 2020: Deutsche Hospitality announced its expansion into new markets by launching Zleep Hotels in the Czech Republic. The new Zleep Hotel Prague is scheduled to open in 2024 as part of a mixed-use scheme comprising an international school, housing units, and a retail area.
February 2020: Deutsche Hospitality expands in Germany with opening of its new four-star IntercityHotel Hannover Hauptbahnhof Ost. This is the second hotel in the city to operate under the brand. The IntercityHotel Hannover is positioned in the upper midscale segment of the hospitality.
January 2020: Deutsche Hospitality announced its first Zleep hotel in Hamburg set to launch in 2022. After acquisition of Scandinavian hotel concept at the beginning of 2019, the group has embarked on a robust path of expansion by announcing new openings in Madrid and Hamburg scheduled for openings in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Farnhornstieg 8 GmbH, a joint venture between SORAVIA and Kiskan Kaufmann Architekten, would act as project developer for the hotel in Hamburg.
