Alaska Air Group and its subsidiary Horizon Air orders nine new E175 aircraft to Embraer. In addition to this Alaska Air Group also announced a commitment for eight more E175 aircraft with SkyWest Airlines.
- The E175 aircraft will fly exclusively with Alaska Airlines under a Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA).
- The value of the contract, which will be included in Embraer’s second-quarter backlog, is USD 449.1 million.
- Alaska Airlines, a new member of the oneworld Alliance, currently has 62 Embraer E175 jets in their fleet, operated by Horizon Air and SkyWest Airlines.

March 2020: Águas Azuis, Brazil has signed a contract with Emgepron, a company linked to the Ministry of Defense through the Brazilian Navy Command for building four new Tamandaré Class Ships. The new ships were schedule to deliver between 2025 and 2028. Águas Azuis was created by thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, Embraer Defense & Security and Atech.
January 2020: Embraers disruptive business subsidiary, EmbraerX, announced its expansion into the commercial air cargo market, with a collaboration agreement with Elroy Air. The collaboration will allow the companies to accelerate the unmanned air cargo market worldwide.
November 2019: Embraer had signed a firm order for three E190 aircraft with Cairo-based CIAF Leasing. The deal had a value of approximately $161.4 million. The three new aircraft will join CIAFs existing fleet of three E170s.
October 2019: Embraer announced a $1.4 billion purchase agreement with Flexjet, a global leader in private jet travel. The deal comprises a fleet of Embraer business jets, which includes the recently certified Praetor jets and the Phenom 300.
