Águas Azuis, Brazil has signed a contract with Emgepron, a company linked to the Ministry of Defense through the Brazilian Navy Command for building four new Tamandaré Class Ships. The new ships were schedule to deliver between 2025 and 2028. Águas Azuis was created by thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, Embraer Defense & Security and Atech.
The construction of Tamandaré Ships will take place in Brazil, in Itajaí, Santa Catarina State. As per contract thyssenkrupp will supply its proven naval technology platform – the MEKO Class shipbuilding platform of defence vessels. Embraer will integrate sensors and weaponry into the combat system. Atech, an Embraer Group company, will be the supplier of the CMS (Combat Management System) and IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System, from L3 MAPPS).

January 2020: Embraer’s disruptive business subsidiary, EmbraerX, announced its expansion into the commercial air cargo market, with a collaboration agreement with Elroy Air. The collaboration will allow the companies to accelerate the unmanned air cargo market worldwide.
November 2019: Embraer has signed a firm order for three E190 aircraft with Cairo-based CIAF Leasing. The deal had a value of approximately $161.4 million. The three new aircraft will join CIAF’s existing fleet of three E170s.
October 2019: Embraer announced a $1.4 billion purchase agreement with Flexjet, a global leader in private jet travel. The deal comprises a fleet of Embraer business jets, which includes the recently certified Praetor jets and the Phenom 300.
