The leading PV cell and module manufacturer Hevel Group, announced plans to build and commission additional 25 solar power plants in Russia and Kazakhstan with a total capacity of 480 MW. At present the company operates more than 600 MW of solar power plants in Russia.
Hevel Group’s new projects will roll out in six Russian regions, including 123 MW in the South of Russia (the Republics of Kalmykia, Adygea and Krasnodar region), 75 MW in Siberia (the Republic of Buryatia and Omsk region). The company will commission a 100 MW solar project named “Nura” in North Kazakhstan.
In February 2020, Hevel Group announced the commissioning of 18 MW solar-plus-storage project in Russia. The solar-plus-storage facility will be operated as stand-alone PV system connected to the grid. The new plant was constructed in Burzyan municipality (Bashkortostan region) with more than 16000 population.
In October 2019, Hevel Group announced plans to build 76.6 MW of solar energy in partnership with Hungarian Jarlene Energy KFT in Hungary.
