The energy storage and power management leader Honeywell announced the acquisition of Nevada-based technology leader Rocky Research. The privately held Rocky Research specialized in thermal, energy and power management solutions.
- Rocky Research will be integrated into Honeywell’s Aerospace business.
- This acquisition expands Honeywell’s existing, broad portfolio, which includes power generation systems, energy storage, and power and thermal management systems.
- It also combines Rocky Research’s proven research and development capabilities with Honeywell’s worldwide reach and engineering integration, test and production expertise.
In May 2020: Honeywell, , announced the establishment of a new manufacturing line capable of producing up to 4.5 million FFP2 disposable masks per month and FFP3 at its Scottish production site in the United Kingdom. The new manufacturing line is expected to create more than 450 jobs at the Honeywell site in Newhouse.
