To boost secure access to computers HP Inc. has agreed to acquire Teradici Corporation. Canada based Teradici is a global innovator in remote computing software that enables users to securely access high-performance computing from any PC, Chromebook, or tablet.

  • The acquisition will enhance HP’s capabilities in the Personal Systems category by delivering new compute models and services tailored for hybrid work.
  • Teradici is the creator of the PCoIP remote display protocol, which delivers desktops and workstations from the data center or public cloud to end users with the highest levels of security, responsiveness, and fidelity.

July 2021: In order to expands HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced to acquire Zerto for USD 374 million. Herzliya, Israel based Zerto is an industry leader in cloud data management and protection.

June 2021: To boost artificial intelligence innovation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise has acquired Determined AI. San Francisco-based startup Determined AI, delivers a powerful and robust software stack to train AI models faster.

March 2021: For the development of digital security in Ireland, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to recruit 150 experienced technologists in next two years. The expansion will help Irish customers to accelerate their digital transformation.

Feb 2021: To expand in gaming market HP Inc. agreed to acquire HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company for approximately USD 425 million. This deal will support HP’s strategy to drive growth in its Personal Systems business, where gaming and peripherals are attractive segments.

July 2020: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Silver Peak, an SD-WAN leader, for approximately $925 million.

January 2020: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the launch of a Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Bengaluru, India, to offer cutting-edge IoT solutions to customers and partners from across industries.

April 2019: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Nutanix (NTNX) announced a global partnership to deliver an integrated hybrid cloud as a Service (aaS) solution to the market. It helps Nutanix’s Enterprise Cloud OS software including its built-in, free AHV hypervisor, delivered through HPE GreenLake to provide customers with a fully HPE-managed hybrid cloud that dramatically lowers total cost of ownership and accelerates time to value.
