The soft drinks leader Britvic announced strategic collaboration with Infosys to accelerate digitalisation process. As per agreement, Infosys will provide end-to-end IT services and deliver a technology-driven approach to fulfill Britvic’s business goals and strategic digital transformation roadmap.

The major deals and investments by Infosys are mentioned below:

April 2021: In order to reduce emissions bp has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with next-generation digital service provider Infosys. As per agreement both will develop an integrated Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) offering.

April 2021: In order to accelerate digital transformation journey, ArcelorMittal announced a strategic long-term collaboration with Infosys. ArcelorMittal has chosen Infosys to and enable next-generation application management and business process management (BPM) services for ArcelorMittal Europe.

March 2021: To accelerate digital transformation, Infosys announced that it would be bringing 500 new jobs to Calgary over the next three years. The company will be doubling its Canadian workforce to 4,000 employees by 2023.

Feb 2021: In order to expand Pennsylvania-based new Retirement Services Center of Excellence, Infosys plans to add 300 American workers. The company will recruit for a range of opportunities across technology and digital services, client administration, and operations.

Dec 2020: To drive IT transformation in the Automotive Sector Daimler AG announced a long-term strategic partnership with Infosys. The partnership helps Daimler AG to transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across workplace services, service desk, data center, networks and SAP Basis together with Infosys.

Oct 2020: The global consulting services provider Infosys has completed the acquisition of Cincinnati based Kaleidoscope Innovation, a full-spectrum product design, development and insights firm innovating across medical, consumer and industrial markets, bolstering capabilities in the design of smart products.

Oct 2020: Infosys signed agreement to acquire Blue Acorn iCi, a leader in digital customer experience, commerce and analytics. Blue Acorn iCi is an Adobe Platinum partner in the US.

Oct 2020: Infosys has completed the acquisition of Czech based GuideVision, a one of the largest ServiceNow Elite Partners in Europe. GuideVision’s training academy and near shore capabilities in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and presence in Germany and Finland will strengthen Infosys’ ServiceNow capabilities for its clients in Europe.

July 2020: The leading DC asset manager Vanguard announced that it will partner with a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting provider Infosys to enhance and evolve its full-service defined contribution (DC) business.

May 2020: Infosys announced that it is partnering with the State of Rhode Island in launching a privacy-first contact tracing solution to help Rhode Islanders and state officials slow the spread of coronavirus throughout the state.

February 2020: Infosys had announced a long-term strategic partnership with GE Appliance, a Haier company, to enable digital and workplace transformation. As per deal Infosys will help GE Appliances to modernize its IT infrastructure and run IT in managed services mode as part of the overall innovation and optimization agenda.

February 2020: Infosys, had agreed to acquire Simplus for $250 million. Simplus, is one of the fastest growing Salesforce Platinum Partners in the USA and Australia. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of the 2020. Simplus is majority-owned by the institutional investors, founders and key employees, with Salesforce Ventures having a minority stake.

January 2020: Infosys, had signed a multi-year, multi-million contract with ABN AMRO Bank to accelerate its cloud and DevOps transformation strategy. As per contract Infosys will enable ABN AMRO Bank to achieve its business and operational goals by aligning its IT transformation with its cloud platform strategy.
