Indias National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC) has selected Jacobs to deliver master planning and preliminary engineering design services for three greenfield industrial developments in South India.
- Jacobs will provide innovative, evidence-based master planning and engineering design solutions to NICDC.
- The projects, under the third phase of the NICDC’s National Industrial Corridor Development Program, aim to reimagine industrial cities in India and create new global manufacturing and investment destinations with world-class road, rail, water, power and social infrastructure.

March 2020: The leading technical professional services provider Jacobs was awarded a framework contract by the Swedish Transport Administration. Jacobs as per contract provided strategic consultancy services for the new high-speed railway lines planned between Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö in Sweden.
January 2020: Jacobs had been selected by the Queensland Government to deliver the rail, integration and systems work package for the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane, Australia. The company will help to deliver major Australian Rail Infrastructure Project on time with existing rail networks.
October 2019: Jacobs had acquired a 50% share in U.K.-based organization Simetrica, which specialized in social value measurement and wellbeing analysis. August 2019: Jacobs signed an agreement to acquire John Wood Group’s Nuclear business for an enterprise value of approx. $300 million on a debt-free, cash-free basis.
