For electrification of Jaguar Land Rover models announce a partnership with Enel X, a subsidiary of The Enel Groop. The deal helps to electrify the entire Jaguar Land Rover range for increasingly sustainable and widespread mobility. Jaguar Land Rover is part of Indian automotive leader Tata Motors.

  • The Enel Group global business line that designs and develops solutions focused on the principles of sustainability and circular economy.
  • The agreement with Enel X, helps to develop integrated and competitive solutions for customers interested in purchasing the 100% electric Jaguar I-PACE, Jaguar and Land Rover PHEVs (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) and all the “plug-in” vehicles arriving on the market over the coming months and years.

The major expansions and partnership by Tata Motors are mentioned below:

July 2020: The global paint & coating company BASF announced that its Coatings division has signed a cooperation agreement with Jaguar Land Rover(JRL) to support the development and implementation of JLR’s Global Body & Paint Programme covering 16 importer countries and markets in Asia Pacific.

March 2020: India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors, has completed the delivery of country’s first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-powered bus order. The company has indigenously developed and delivered the LNG buses in the stipulated timeframe.

February 2020: The leading automotive manufacturing company Tata Motors, partnered with Tata Elxsi, a global design and technology services company for developing a unified Connected Vehicle Platform that powers the Nexon EV range of electric cars for the company.

December 2019: Tata Motors announced a partnership with Prakriti E-Mobility Private Limited, to deploy around 500 Tigor EVs in New Delhi, India. Prakriti E-Mobility Private Limited, an EV based taxi service company, will deploy the Tigor EVs on its app-based platform EVERA, which will serve in Delhi/NCR, reinforcing its commitment to service clients while enhancing sustainability.
