The global solar module manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., will source 60.9 MW of bifacial modules for the first industrial hybrid plant in Chile. JinkoSolar Bifacial panels to produce an estimated 184 GWh of electiricty annually.

  • The hybrid plant will be located about 10 kilometers outside the city of Calama in the Antofagasta Region and will consist of a 60.9 MW PV plant and a 90 MW wind farm.
  • The hybrid PV plant, whose construction is expected to be finished in early 2021.

In March 2020, JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., announced that it will donate one million face masks and other protective equipment items to several countries severely affected by Covid-19 including Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Britain, Switzerland, South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal and Norway. The first batch of 50,000 has been packaged and shipped through green passage for export aid equipment under the assistance of local governments, Red Cross and other charity organizations.

In January 2020, Jinko Solar Holding Co. Ltd and ALDO Solar, which stands out among the leading distributors of solar power equipment of the country, announce a long-term partnership in one of the most important distribution deals ever signed by Jinko Solar.

In December 2019, JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., announced that the company has partnered with Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. in delivering 90MW of its high-efficiency Cheetah solar panels for a solar agriculture complementary project in Ningxia, China.
