To expand retail business Lenta LLC has completed the acquisition of Billa Russia supermarket business for approximately USD 263 million. Lenta LLC is an indirect subsidiary of Lenta IPJSC, one of the largest multi-format retail chains in Russia.
- Lenta will become the #2 supermarket operator in Moscow and the Moscow region by number of stores.
- Lenta plans to integrate the 161 newly acquired supermarkets, supply chain infrastructure and Billa Russia employees into the Lenta retail network over the course of the next 12 months.

June 2021: Lenta IPJSC announced that its indirect subsidiary Lenta LLC had signed an agreement to acquire Semya Group, the fourth largest retailer in the Perm region. Semya Group operates 75 stores in Perm city and the Perm region with total selling space of 46,600 square meters, including four hypermarkets, 27 supermarkets and 44 convenience stores.

The store has a total area of 1,367 sq.m with 943 sq.m of selling space and is open from 8.00 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week. A broad assortment of products of 10,700 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of the city. The store has 7 cash registers and 200 parking spaces. The property is leased by Lenta.
Nov 2020: Lenta, announced the opening of its new hypermarket in Kazan. The new store opened at Pavlyukhina Street, building 91, in the KazanMall shopping mall. The store has a total area of 7,200 sq.m with 5,735 sq.m of selling space and is open from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A broad assortment of products of 17,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Kazan. The store has 15 cash registers including 4 self-checkout lanes. The property is leased by Lenta.
Nov 2020: Lenta, opened its supermarket in Moscow. The new store is Lenta supermarket located at 1 Inzhenernaya street. The store has a total area of 1,091 sq.m with 654 sq.m of selling space and is open from 08.00 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week. The store has 6 cash registers. The supermarket was opened under a long-term partnership with ADG Group. The property is leased by Lenta.
