Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) signed a partnership agreement with Trendlines Agrifood, an investment vehicle of The Trendlines Group. The agreement helps to identify emerging technologies in agrifood sector.

April 2021: To enhance products modification PW Power Systems officially changed its name to Mitsubishi Power Aero. The merger will benefit customers of aeroderivative gas turbines. The role of aeroderivative power to provide on-demand energy has become very critical.

Nov 2020: To expand the production of clean energy Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. announce a capital investment in a leading U.S. company Monolith Materials, Inc.. The investment in Monolith, MHI Group looks to strengthen and diversify its hydrogen value chain.

June 2020: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries announce that Keppel Data Centres Holding Pte Ltd and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MHI-AP) had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly explore the implementation of the hydrogen powered tri-generation plant concept for data centres in Singapore.

June 2020: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger, Ltd. (MHIET), a part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group, had concluded an agreement under which the domestic marine engine sales and parts servicing operations currently performed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine Systems, Ltd.
(MHIES), a wholly owned subsidiary, will be transferred to Seika Corporation.

April 2020: Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS) had received an order for steam turbine power generating equipment for the Datan Power Plant in the city of Taoyuan, Taiwan, approximately 50km west of the city of Taipei. The equipment will be used to convert the gas turbine simple cycle generators to a gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) system, enhancing its efficiency and increasing the power generating capacity around 50%, from the current output of about 600 megawatts (MW) to 900 MW.
