To boost tech-enabled companies Mubadala Investment Company, has invested $75mn in 5-year pre-IPO convertible bonds of Telegram. , The social media platform, Telegram further along with Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners investing $75 million.

March 2021: For the development of hydrogen energy in UAE, Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Snam. Italy based Snam, is one of the worlds leading energy infrastructure operator and a subsidiary of global energy company Eni.
Jan 2021: To accelerate digital economy the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), alongside Mubadala Investment Company (UAE) and a number of leading sovereign wealth funds of the Middle East, announce completion of their joint investment in AliExpress Russia JV (AER JV).
Nov 2020: Mubadala, announced that it will become minority shareholder in the Abu Dhabi-based Group42 (G42), an artificial intelligence and cloud computing company.
Aug 2020: Philadelphia based PCI Pharma Services (PCI) announced that a leading private equity firm Kohlberg and investing firm Mubadala Investment has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake PCI for an undisclosed sum.
June 2020: Reliance Industries Limited and Jio Platforms Limited, Indias leading digital services platform, announced that Mubadala Investment Company, the Abu Dhabi-based sovereign investor, will invest $1.2B USD in Jio Platforms at an equity value of $65B USD and an enterprise value of $68B USD (AED 250B). Mubadalas investment will translate into a 1.85% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis.
March 2020: Mubadala Investment Company, and OMV, the international integrated oil and gas company headquartered in Vienna, had signed an agreement that will give OMV a majority stake in Borealis, one of Europes leading petrochemical companies. OMV, which currently owns a 36% stake in Borealis, will acquire an additional 39% from Mubadala.
March 2020: Mubadala Investment Company announced that it had joined Silver Lake and other investors including the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Magna International, and Andreessen Horowitz as part of a consortium to invest a total of $2.25bn in Waymo, the self-driving technology company owned by Alphabet, the parent company of Google.
