The leading hydrogen production company BayoTech, has announced a lease agreement for a hydrogen generator with Nutrien, is one of the world’s largest of crop inputs and service provider.
New Mexico based BayoTech as per agreement will deploy an on-site hydrogen generator to one of Nutrien’s nitrogen fertilizer plants. Nutrien will operate the unit for supplemental hydrogen, and BayoTech will perform maintenance and 24/7 remote monitoring through the BayoCare program. BayoTech offers hydrogen production solutions through rentals, leases and sales to the customers globally.
April 2020: Nutrien Ltd. has signed an agreement to acquire Brazil based Tec Agro Group .Tec Agro is a leading Ag Retailer with 25 years of service to farmers and 8 Retail branches. Tec Agro also owns one of the largest branded soybean seeds businesses in Brazil. The acquisition is in-line with Nutrien”s past acquisitions in the U.S. for similar businesses.
February 2020: Nutrien Ltd. announced the completion of acquisition of Van Horn, Inc., a leading US retailer and agricultural services provider located in central Illinois. The company has more than 5,000 customers in 18 counties.
January 2020: Nutrien announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase 100 percent of the equity of Agrosema Comercial Agricola Ltda, a leading Ag retailer in the southern Brazil crop input market with over 30 years of experience.
