The worlds leading two-wheelers and three-wheelers manufacturer TVS Motor Company announced the acquisition of Britain’s most iconic sporting motorcycle; company Norton Motorcycles (U.K.) Limited for approximately $19.9 million.
India based TVS Motor Company with this deal strengthen its presence in international two-wheeler markets. Norton Motorcycles was established in 1898 by James Lansdowne Norton. Norton Motorcycles is known for its luxury motorcycles ranging from authentic retro classic reboots of the famous Commando to their contemporary 200 bhp, 1200cc V4 super-bikes.
Recently in March 2020, TVS Motor Company has announced a contribution of approximately $75 million towards Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, in India to aid the battle against COVID-19.
