In order to expand skin care portfolio, Unilever agreed to acquire leading digital-led skin care brand Paulas Choice from TA Associates. Washington based Paulas Choice is a pioneer of science-backed products and direct to consumer (DTC) e-commerce.
- Paulas Choice was founded by Paula Begoun in 1995, the brand is famous for its industry-leading innovation, accessible jargon-free science, high performing ingredients and cruelty-free products.

June 2020: The worlds leading consumer goods company Unilever had announced that companys brands will collectively invest approximately $1.2 billion in a new dedicated Climate & Nature Fund to improve the health of the planet.
March 2020: Mumbai based consumer goods company Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) had signed an agreement with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd to acquire its intimate hygiene brand VWash. The transaction includes the acquisition of intellectual property rights with trademarks, design and know-how related to the VWash brand. Glenmark will continue to manage the business until the transaction is completed with HUL.
December 2019: Unilever had announced the opening of a new global Foods Innovation Centre on Wageningen campus after investment of approximately $91 million. From Hive, Unilever would lead its global Foods innovation programs for brands like Knorr, Hellmanns, The Vegetarian Butcher and Calv?. Areas of research will include: plant-based ingredients and meat alternatives, efficient crops, sustainable food packaging and nutritious foods.
