The renewable energy leader Vestas has secured its largest order in Vietnam to date for a total of 144 MW for the three wind parks Lien Lap, Phong Huy, and Phong Nguyen in the Qu?ng Tr? Province. The new order takes Vestas 2020 order intake in Vietnam to over 300 MW.
- The order is placed by Power Construction Company No.1 (PCC1), a local independent power producer and electrical infrastructure company, in partnership with RENOVA, Inc. a Japanese renewable energy company.
- Vestas will supply, transport, install and commission a total of 36 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines delivered in 4.0 MW operating mode
- With the three projects located in remote and complex mountainous terrain, the order demonstrates how Vestas can leverage its industry-leading siting, project management and transportation capabilities to develop and deliver site-specific solutions in all conditions.

May 2020: Vestas has secured new order from Vietnam for two projects totalling 64 MW located in complex mountainous terrain in Quang Tri province. With this new order, the company has closed more than 160 MW of deals in Vietnam in 2020.
March 2020, Vestas has secured an order from Green Investment Group Limited, a specialist developer, sponsor and investor and part of the Macquarie Group for the 79.8 MW wind project in Norway.
March 2020, Vestas has received an order for a project in China that includes the supply of V120-2.2 MW wind turbines as well as a 5-year Active Output Management 4000(AOM 4000) service agreement. The order brings Vestas’ total order intake in China up to more than 600 MW within a period of three months.
February 2020, Vestas has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for the 108 MW Energía Sierra Juárez II wind park, to be located in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico.
