Global wind turbine provider Vestas has received an order that includes the supply of V120-2.2 MW wind turbines for a project in China. The service agreement also includes a 5-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000).

With this fresh order Vestas total intake order in China increase up to more than 600 MW within a period of three months. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2020, and commissioning of wind turbines is planned for the fourth quarter of 2020.

Earlier in March 2020, the company has secured the first order for the V155-3.3 MW turbine variant for two projects in China that totals 201 MW. The order includes the supply of 61 turbines.

The major deals by Vestas in last six months are mentioned below:

February 2020: Vestas has received an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for the 108 MW Energía Sierra Juárez II wind park. The project is located in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. The contract includes the supply, transport, installation and commissioning of 26 V150-4.2 MW of which some are delivered on 4.0 MW operating mode.

December 2019: Vestas announced that it has received its first V136-4.2 MW order from South Korea for the Cheongsong Myeonbong Mt Wind Power project with EPC contractor Kumho Industrial Co., Ltd.

December 2019: Vestas has received a 53 MW order for three wind projects from Pacifico Group and Green Bear Cooperation Poland sp.z.o.o., a company of Optima Wind sp z. o. o. Group, for the wind projects Debowa Laka, Swiecie and 12 W located in Kujawsko voivodship, north-central Poland.

September 2019: Vestas has secured a 31 MW order for a wind park near Albertshof, Brandenburg, in Germany, from Windpark Albertshof GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the public utility Berliner Stadtwerke GmbH,
